The elements of my current work are in an abstract style. I work with acrylics and I see my work as ‘organised chaos’. Alone a painting may be full of expressive marks, but when structured neatly in a series it’s almost ironic. I’ve found the reactions of my audience to be interesting while working in this technique, as they will associate themselves with a different painting each day. “ I’m that painting today, no wait, that one seems about right “. Although I can never feel the same feelings as others, as we experience feelings in different ways, I am left to think about what draws them to that certain piece today, what makes them choose differently from yesterday?
