The main focus of my work is an exploration of a common and ordinary Fanta Can. The aim is to re-render the object from mundane to something visually interesting and stimulating by simplifying and abstracting it to its fundamental properties: colour and shape. Whilst creating my work I have mainly thought about how much it is possible to present the repetitive shape of the Can. From this, I have also started to think as to what extent it is possible to reshape it before it becomes indistinguishable, by manipulating the key elements and experimenting with employing methods of detachment.
